  • Despite the rise in employment and utilization of human resources, as well as the decline in the "slowness" of the labor market - in the second quarter of 2023 - job vacancies in Greece continue to increase, with several sectors suffering due to the lack of workers.
  • Industry, catering, construction, tourism, security, IT and the agricultural sector record significant job vacancies.
  • The data from the Hellenic Statistical Authority (ELSTAT) on job vacancies are indicative of the prevailing situation. They amount to several thousand, as shown by data relating to the second quarter of this year.
  • According to ELSTAT, job vacancies increased by 36.2% on an annual basis and 13% on a quarterly basis.
